New BitNinja Agent Release 3.16.14: Earlier Attack Detection and WAF Pro Fixes

BitNinja Linux Agent 3.16.14 introduces the second phase of JA4-related work for early attack detection in Caddy, improves backend server detection in WAF Pro, and includes ProcessAnalysis and uninstall workflow updates. This release is available through the FREQUENT and BETA update channels.

WAF Pro

This release continues JA4-related development for early attack detection in Caddy. The update aims to improve the identification of potentially malicious traffic earlier in the request-processing flow.

BitNinja also fixes backend server detection in WAF Pro. Correct backend identification helps ensure that WAF-related processing is applied to the appropriate server environment.

In addition, the release copies the WAF3 dependency to the relevant project components, enabling functionality that relies on the WAF3 package.

ProcessAnalysis

BitNinja 3.16.14 includes fixes for the ProcessAnalysis component. These changes improve the reliability and stability of process analysis.

Uninstall Flow

The uninstall workflow now sends configurations and modules as part of the process. This provides more complete and consistent handling of installed components when BitNinja is removed.
